Zeke had never seen anything like the Bellagio water show!
Jake and Zeke hiking at Red Rock
The girls (and Zeke) played non-stop and got along perfectly.
Dinner at CPK. A sea of toddlers.
It amazed even the people in the background.
My boys just "get" each other.
After spending a great weekend with Court and Jer hiking at Red Rock and playing on the Strip, we hopped back in the car. The kids thought we were going home. After two hours, Roxy again was perturbed. "Where are we GOING?? This does not seem like the way to Utah. It seems like the way to California." Ellie was in the backseat sobbing with tears streaming down her face. "We're never going to get back to Henry."
"Yep, We're headed to Disneyland!!!"
Again there were cheers from the backseat. Ellie was smiling and pumping her fists with tears still rolling down her cheeks. Classic.
Front and center at the Playhouse Disney show. We saw Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, My Friends Tigger and Pooh and Little Einstein's. It was heaven for the kids.
This is how Eleanor slept every night. She had her own bed and was mesmerized by the order and crispness of her linens. She insisted that no one touch her bed and she slept still to avoid any disarray. When she and Roxy got sick of each other one evening, Roxy threatened to mess up her bed. Eleanor threw herself into a fit, screaming and wailing, "She's gonna mess up my bed. She's gonna mess up my bed." Roxy stood by smirking. Mom intervened and Ellie's pristine existence...er, bed...was preserved.
Brunch at "Ariel's Grotto" with all the Disney Princesses. A little over-the-top. Which is just the way my girls like it.
Disneyland may actually be the Happiest Place on Earth.
Jungle Cruising
Another day was spent at Newport Beach. We had a picnic and walked on the boardwalk.
Eleanor was the only who actually swam. The water was ice cold. The boys didn't even touch the water.
We spent 4 days at Disneyland and a day at the beach. Getting to spend several days with Jeremiah, Court and girls was a rare treat! We all agreed it was the best vacation ever!
