The girls Easter dresses came in the mail today. They were excited and promptly dressed up and sashayed around the living room. Zeke was unsure of the reason these polka-dot dresses were a cause to party, but he didn't want to be left out. He started pointing to Roxy's dress and whining and grabbing his shirt.
The girls were only to happy to oblige. They found Little Man a lovely dress, all his own. He was pleased to be part of the prancing polka-dot party.
Roxy crossed the line, however, when she dolled up his hair.
Ellie dubbed Zeke's alter-ego "Chloe". The girls called him that all evening, though he didn't respond once. Poor unknowing child had no idea why they were shouting a new and random word his way.
Eleanor was even overheard saying to no one in particular, "Yes, Chloe looks like she is stinky. But she isn't stinky." (Passive-aggressive pretend play?)
When it came time for bed, Zeke refused to let us take off his fancy frock.
Nigh-night, Little Chloe.
I think Jake was probably a little relieved that Zeke had also insisted on taking a basketball to bed...

Hilarious! We joke that our kids' college fund is really their psychotherapy fund. We figure they'll need that more than an education once we're finished with them. Does Zeke/Chloe have one yet? :-)
