This summer, like most summers, is passing too quickly.
So many fun things to do, so many memories in the making.
This summer has been especially meaningful as Jake leaves for Afghanistan in two weeks. We are trying to eek every bit of husband and daddy time out of him!
We spent a week in Las Vegas. Jake had a conference, so we decided to make a vacation of it. We got to spend time with Jeremiah and Courtney and girls. Our girls almost left on the moving truck with them.

Zeke loved the view from our 28th floor window at the MGM grand. McCarran airport was nearby and we must have watched dozens of planes taking off. Each time Zeke would point and shout, "Airplane, airplane!" Some things never get old to a one year-old boy.
The kids swam for hours each day.
We even met up with half the Murdock clan in Vegas! Ellie, Ollie and Julia

Ellie had her dance recital and was a Superstar
Roxy had her violin recital and was amazing!
