zeke wishes you a very happy valentines day.
this sweet baby is 4 months, almost 20 pounds,loves to give kisses, pull hair, and play with his playgym and jumperoo. he sleeps 5 hours in a row most nights. he doesn't seem to hate the car now that he can play with carseat toys. poor baby has a cold---again! his fourth and he's only 4 months old! he is surprisingly happy through it all. zeke only fusses when he is tired or hungry. he is friendly to everyone and quick to smile. he has a scream that is ear-piercing. he does it when happy or mad. you can tell when he screams that he is pleased with himself. he has found his feet and loves to suck on his fist and chew (not suck) his thumb. And can you believe that he is getting his first tooth?! the lower right middle tooth. little man, you are growing up too fast!!!
roxy and eleanor LOVED the singing stuffed animals (and other goodies) they got from grandma and grandpa murdock for valentines day!
Eleanor is taking her new stuffed doggy "on a walk". She also thought Valentines was a completely appropriate day to wear her swimsuit..."all day long, mom".
she definitely has opinions about clothes already.
when i put a purple dress on her she pulled out her green polka dot boots and insisted on wearing them. when i remarked, "i'm not sure they match" she found a tiny thread of green in her dress and said, "oh, here! there's a little green here. it matches."
i laughed and said, "oh eleanor, you're only 2!" (thinking about what her teen years will be like) and she said excitedly, "yeah, mom, and two year-olds wear green boots!!!"
how could i argue with that? green boots it was.

What a gorgeous boy! Angel he is so sqeezable, I hope I get to meet him soon. I just bought that same swimsuit for Ella, I love it... Ella has the same fashion sense, if there is any color matchin at all, no matter the pattern it is a match!
